Kids get to slide, roll, & bounce at Little Brain Lab! Our playground and drop-off encourage 'little brain' development and social interaction. Our facility is best for children 9 months - 7 years old. *Come play or have a birthday party!

Parties
Book a private party! All parties include up to 40 guests (including children), pizzas & drinks for the kids, attendant, setup and cleanup. We offer food & party decor in-house: balloons, garlands, favors e.g. fidget toys, glow sticks. Please order from the catering menu. Outside balloons or food are not allowed except cake (dietary restrictions exempt). NO alcohol. Non - refundable deposit is required to book.
Drop Off
We offer drop off care for kids 3 1/2 to 8 years old. Our licensed year round drop-off camp is play based, and focused on exercise & sensory play. Kids build with magnetic tiles, foam blocks, and engage in pretend play to promote social skills. We also host events for infants up to big kids! Check out the site for upcoming events. Membership
Join our membership to unlock multiple visits per week. We offer a limited number of memberships. Enjoy open play, drop off, & events. Our family monthly membership includes unlimited visits per family, keypad access, 1 guest pass per month, 1 drop - off camp session, 10% off parties and priority choice for party dates. Subscription is billed until cancelled.

How do I book open play? Can I walk in? Do I need socks?Please book online through our website littlebrainlab.com. Open play is limited to 90 minutes during peak times. Walk ins for open play are welcome, but space is NOT GUARANTEED. Adults & Children must wear socks for safety and hygiene. Kids must wear socks with grips at the bottom. Please bring socks or purchase at the front desk. All adults must sign a participation waiver - no exceptions.

Is there parking? Where do we keep strollers?Unfortunately, as we are located in south orange downtown, we only have street parking and lot parking. We do have stroller parking right in front of the windows outside the space ;) Parking Lot: 18 S Orange Ave, South Orange, NJ 07079 You can park at the PNC lot above LBL on Saturday after 12 pm & Sundays all day only or else cars will be towed.

Can I bring my own food/drink for play or parties?We do not allow outside food except for kids snacks to eat at the table area. We offer pizzas & party catering from our local restaurant partners. For parties, Pizzas/drinks are provided for kids only. Additional Food, Balloons and decor are available for purchase. No eating and drinking in play areas please.

Where is the restroom or diaper changing station?The restrooms are across the hall, and locked for your safety. Please request a key at the front desk. Each restroom is equipped with a baby changing table. We provide shower slides/shoe protectors for you to wear to and from the restroom. Please return keys and shoes after use.

Do you have membership?Yes! We offer monthly subscriptions that provide members unlimited access to the playground, including keycode access up to 7 pm, & 1 drop off care session for 2 hours (except during private parties/events).

Can I drop off my Kids?Absolutely! We have a licensed drop-off program for 2-3 hours for kids 3.5 years old to 8 years old only. Our staff will ensure that your kids are entertained while you attend to your daily responsibilities. Sessions are tailored for campers 3.5-5 years of age, and some sessions tailored for campers 5+ Activities: rock wall climbing, ball pool, slides, pretend play stations, magnetic tiles, sensory swings, sensory room, bubbles, and snacks. Pizzas are included for CAMP after 5 pm. All campers must be 3.5 years old, fully potty trained and separated by the start of camp.

How do I book a party?Visit us in person or book online through our website by checking available times on the calendar. A non - refundable deposit is required. We do not take payment over the phone.

How many people are allowed for parties?For a more comfortable experience, the maximum number of people allowed for parties is 40. We will charge for any extra guests over the threshold - $20 per child, $10 per adult up to 48 people max capacity. The recommended ratio of adults to children is no higher than 2:1.

Can I bring my own food/drink?Yes. Note that pizzas/drinks are already included for the kids only. Alternatively, you may order additional pizza or catering through us. No eating and drinking in play area.

Can we bring our own party decorations?We provide balloons & decor in - house for purchase. Outside balloons & decorations are not allowed. We can also create custom parties and themes upon request.

What is the party structure? Can I drop off my kids?The playground keeps kids very busy having fun with open play in the main room for 1 hour, and 30 minutes of eating time in the party room. Adults can drop off their children with an authorized adult (not LBL staff). All adults must sign waiver and add their children to the waiver.
